To Humanise

Another penny tinkers into the empty bowl
He looks up at the smiling face,
Like an enigmatic resurge, it brings one to his own
a freckled face of a man who had lost.

The boy smiled, a smile of sheer pleasure
two breads and a penny, he'd stole from the bakery
the guilt and the hunger played games in his mind,
it reminded him of his treachery.

He, thus dropped the penny into the bowl
and felt his spirit lighten up
again walked away briskly,
the transgressional pursuit now accomplished

The world now tries to Humanise
being the Saint, post the sinner
changing veils every now and then,
And I wonder, who is the real Winner?

Stand, By Me

Stand, By Me

Will you stand by me,

You'd asked, like the hundred odd times

I can still remember the stirring passion

Of the embers, now cold.

Will you stand by me

Hold me tight, with all your love?

You sang it over and over again..

I still remember and yet wonder,

Where did all the love go?

I now recall the words..

You Sang to me,

Would you Stand by me..

As you left, for once and ever.

Seek within
Summer awaits you
Let it over flow.

Contrary to popular beliefs, Joy does not simply Happen to us. We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day. So you can never be happy, unless You make yourself Happy.

Choose to be happy. Today!

The Pack of Cards

The candle flickered the trails of this lane
Dancing shadows shimmered in tranquil black
Amicable visions faded into hollow darkness
As the queen was dethroned from the pack.

The men drank the sweet blood
They drew from soury drops of sweat
All now swallowed by the angry grays
Following extinguished fire of venomnous bewilderment.

Some babies cried the tears
Of the sin their fathers committed
Women shrunk into beaded prayers
The whole town burned with unrest.

They tore my clothes, bared my skin
No one heard my cries that night,
What for was I punished,
Why o why, did I die?

Tonight I sit,and swing
The full moon lights my skin
Sky becomes my drape
And I finally rise up to Him.
